Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of wordpressdeveloperz.com (the "Site") and any web design or related services ("Services") provided by WordPress Developerz, a remote-based, independently operated business run by Oluwatosin Rita Ojo-George (not currently a formally registered business entity) ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

We provide website design and build services, including but not limited to strategy, design, and build packages as described on our Pricing page, as well as AI workflow automation services. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing for a project will be confirmed with each client individually before work begins.

2. Project Process

  • Projects typically begin with a Strategy & Content Map phase, followed by design/build and an Optimize & Launch phase.
  • Clients are responsible for providing requested materials in a timely manner, including brand assets, content/copy, and site access (hosting/domain login) as outlined on our Requirements page.
  • Delays in providing required materials may extend the agreed project timeline.
  • We do not make purchases (such as domain registration or hosting) on behalf of clients. We can guide clients through this process, but account setup and payment for third-party services remains the client's responsibility.

3. Payment Terms

  • An 80% deposit is required to secure a project slot and covers the design and build phase.
  • The remaining 20% is due once the project is complete and ready to launch.
  • We accept payment in USD, GBP, CAD, and EUR.
  • Prices for standard packages are listed on our Pricing page; custom projects are quoted individually.
  • If a project is cancelled within 24 hours of the deposit being paid and before any work has begun, the deposit is fully refundable. Once work has commenced, or after the 24-hour window has passed, the deposit is non-refundable except as required by law.

4. Revisions

Each package includes a set number of revision rounds during the build phase, as described on our Pricing page. Additional revisions beyond the included rounds, or changes requested after launch, may incur additional fees unless covered under an active care plan.

5. Post-Launch Support

After launch, minor edits and ongoing support are available through an optional monthly care plan. Support beyond what's included in a client's package or care plan will be quoted separately.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Upon receipt of full payment, clients receive ownership of the final website design and content created specifically for their project.
  • We retain the right to display completed projects in our portfolio, case studies, and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Any third-party assets used in a project (stock imagery, plugins, themes, fonts) remain subject to their own licensing terms.
  • We are not responsible for verifying the client's ownership or licensing rights to content and assets the client provides to us.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and lawful content for use on their website
  • Respond to requests for feedback, approvals, and materials in a timely manner
  • Maintain their own backups and manage ongoing hosting/domain renewals unless covered under a separate agreement

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WordPress Developerz is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services or the Site, including loss of business, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to our Services is limited to the amount paid by the client for the relevant project.

9. No Guarantee of Results

While we design websites to support conversions, SEO, and business growth, we do not guarantee specific business outcomes, search rankings, or revenue results.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a project agreement with written notice. If a client cancels a project after work has begun, the deposit is forfeited in full and no further amount is owed by the client for work completed up to that point, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site or our Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
